The ION 0.2 wall mount configuration enables conversion from LAN to analog audio to take place at the wall. This eliminates long lines of analog audio cable between a conventional passive wall plate and the nearest control room rack. The solution eliminates complex rack patch bays, as patching can easily be achieved by changing the network address of each ion wall interface. This feature also provides a simple room combining solution.

ION 0.2 converts 2 channels of incoming CobraNet^® data stream back into analog audio signals at the wall. The XL and RCA outputs are +22dbu max output. This eliminates long lines of analog audio cable between a conventional passive wall plate and the nearest control room rack. The solution eliminates complex rack patch bays, as patching can easily be achieved by changing the network address of each ion wall interface. This feature also provides a simple room combining solution. The interfaces are designed to fit commonly available decorative wall plates and backboxes from Leviton, MK, etc, allowing the installer to meet the Interior Designer or Architects requirements for color and finish. The ION 0.2 has 100MPS of DSP processing, with EQ filters, Compressors and matrix switching/mixing. In addition the ION 0.2 interface can accept up to 8 incoming CobraNet® audio streams to provide local mixing capability.

The interfaces are designed to fit commonly available decorative wall plates and backboxes from Leviton, MK, etc, allowing the installer to meet the Interior Designer or Architects requirements for color and finish.

Applications include Hotels/Hospitality suites, Convention Centers, Corporate Meeting rooms and Classrooms and Lecture rooms.

• Dual unbalanced RCA outputs (mono source) with a -8dBu (nominal)/+12dBu (peak), 600 ohm output stage for each channel
• Single balanced (true differential topology) XLR3 (M) output with a +4dBu (nominal)/+22dBu (peak), 600 ohm output stage for each channel
• XL-3 (M) connector shall be ‘latch-less’ to minimize mechanical damage to the CobraNet interface
• Each XLR3 (M) output shall be the same mono source as the RCA outputs
• Each output channel gain shall be adjustable over 12dB in 3 steps, ie, -8dBu (nominal)/+12dBu (peak), -6dBu nominal/+18dbu (peak) and +4dBu (nominal)/+24dBu (peak) via a front panel mounted slide switch. The slide switch shall be recessed to avoid damage and use a 3 position LED display to indicate gain position
